What does the roof inspection include?

Full coverage of all aspects of the roof surfaces, including as many photographs as required to capture any issues and pass on to the client. We also give recommendations.

Is a drone inspection safer than a manual one?

Yes. Drones eliminate the need for people to climb onto potentially dangerous roofs, making the process safer, quicker, and less intrusive.

Do I need to be at the property during the inspection?

No. We can carry out inspections independently with your permission, as long as we have access to the site and airspace.

Do you provide reports with the drone footage?

Yes. We deliver high-resolution photos and/or video, and can include annotated reports highlighting areas of concern, suitable for insurers, surveyors, or contractors.

Is drone roof inspection legal?

Yes. We are fully licensed by the CAA and insured for commercial drone operations. We follow all legal requirements regarding airspace and privacy.

Can you work with my surveyor or roofing contractor?

Absolutely. We can collaborate directly with your team to ensure our imagery supports their needs and speeds up the repair process.

Are you licensed and insured to fly drones commercially?

Yes. We are fully certified by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) and hold commercial drone insurance for all operations.

Can the moment be recorded or filmed?

Yes! You’re welcome to record it yourself, or we can arrange professional drone or ground footage for an additional fee.

How high and far can your drones fly?

Our drones operate within legal limits – up to 120 meters (400 feet) high and within visual line of sight. For more complex shoots, we can apply for additional permissions.

How much notice is required for a booking?

We recommend at least 3–5 days’ notice, especially if flight permissions are required. Urgent jobs may still be possible – just get in touch.

Will I own the footage and images?

Yes. Once full payment is received, you’ll have full usage rights to all agreed deliverables.

How are the final images/videos delivered?

Files are delivered digitally via a secure download link in high-resolution format. We can also supply edits if requested.
